Great scent but bad wick

I love the scent of this candle but I have trouble keeping the wick lit. I wasn't able to get the wax to burn to the edges and I had to scoop out some of the wax because it kept tunneling and burning out. This is my first experience using a wooden wick and I would prefer a regular cotton one if available.
